Brussel Sprouts

Peak Season - November - January

These work well either steamed, boiled or fried with bacon lardons and nuts. You can also oven-roast them or shred them into a stir-fry.

Store the sprouts in the fridge, they will last 2-3 weeks if on the stalk or around 1 week off.

Remove any ragged outer leaves, trim the bases and wash. No need to score the bottoms as this makes them soggy.
