You can boil, grill, roast and blanch.

Add it to pasta sauces, stews, risottos or at the end of cooking as a side dish.

Asparagus goes well with new potatoes, butter, eggs, lemon, orange, peas, bacon, prosciutto, mushrooms. 

Eat this as soon as possible for the freshest taste. Store it in the fridge.

Snap off the woody bases by bending the spear gently and, naturally, the tough end will snap off.
